That is fine, in these cases, we can usually provide an estimate for the work based on your requirements, but if you are thinking of investing a few thousand pounds in a new garden, it may be advisable to first invest in a detailed plan, this way you will be able to provide prospective contractors with accurate plans and specifications. This should mean that you get a more accurate price and there will be less room for misunderstandings.

In this case, we will conduct a site visit, talk through the design with you and then provide a price for the whole project.

This is a question that we get asked all the time and no two projects are the same, so it really does depend upon the job and what has to go into it.

It is always good to have an idea of what you are prepared to invest in your project. A designer or contractor can only work with what you give them. So have a rough figure in mind.

Not normally for a garden project, however, if you live in a conservation area, or want to remove established trees you may need permission. You may also need permission to install raised decks, terraces or structures that may impact on your neighbours. Also from October 08 all driveways and paved areas will have to be compliant with new regulations which are intended to reduce surface water run off into storm drains. There is no doubt that the climate has changed over the last few years and because of this, we are able to work all year round and having work done over the winter months will mean that you are ready to enjoy your new garden as soon as the sun comes out! In most cases, we do not take a deposit, unless we are ordering a specific product or special item, in which case we would supply you with details along with our terms and conditions.
